My Verdict
I liked this tiny piece of application. I have personally faced situations like what have been described in that beginning of this post and Another Command Prompt would be a Life Saver then.

Actually, Command Prompt Portable uses windows command prompt so it does not work if command prompt is blocked. That is the whole purpose of aCmd.

Also, the text is brighter because I think that it looks better that way. You can change the text color to the default grey-on-black typing the “color 08” command.

You can also use FireCMD (http://www.brainasoft.com/firecmd/) to run command prompt in GUI tabbed window.
